This WebMDRx Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice (“Notice”) supplements the WebMD Privacy Policy, regarding our collection, processing, and use of “Consumer Health Data” (“CHD”) as defined certain under applicable state privacy laws, in order to provide you with certain services, such as sending you notifications, reminders and saving coupons about your prescription (collectively, the “Services”).

We may collect CHD to the extent necessary to provide certain Services to you. Such CHD may include:

  • Personally identifiable information, such as your full name, date of birth, email address, phone number and zip code.
  • Information about your health conditions and treatment that you provide to us in connection with our Services, which may include your prescription information, your pharmacy information and your prescriber information.
  • Other CHD you provide to us in your communications to us.

We collect CHD from you as necessary to provide you with the Services that you have requested, and we may obtain the CHD listed above directly from you, such as when you request to use our Services.

CHD is shared with our copay service providers for the purpose of providing you with the Services you requested.

We do not “sell” CHD as that term is defined by applicable state privacy laws.

Subject to applicable law, you have the following rights:

  • Stop using the Services you requested
  • Delete your CHD
  • Access your CHD
  • Rectify your CHD
